What the Adults Are Studying

SUNDAY MORNINGS

doctrine matters

All thoughtful Christians want to better understand the Bible, its author, and its influence on their beliefs. In short—whether they recognize it or not—they want to understand theology. But many find the subject matter too academic, dense, or difficult to understand, and they lack proper study resources to help expand their knowledge of God and his written word.  Join us Sunday morning during teh 9AM hour as Pastor Jamie walks us through 8 essential doctrinal matters based on the Bible.

 FELLOWSHIP WEDNESDAYS

On two Wednesdays a month, the men and women will be splitting up to focus attention on two different studies.

WOMEN

The Women will be studying  C.J. Mahaney's "The Cross Centered Life: Keeping the Gospel The Main Thing."

Remember Jesus Christ? Although it seems almost too obvious, the center of our faith is surprisingly easy to forget. Dynamic pastor C.J. Mahaney shows how to overcome our tendency to move on from the gospel of grace. Finding joy in the gospel -- whose promises allow us to escape condemnation whenever it attacks -- helps us avoid the prevalent trap of legalism. With practical suggestions, Mahaney demonstrates the difference between knowing the gospel... and making it the main thing in daily decisions and daily living.

What Are You Centered On?

Sometimes the most important truths are the easiest to forget. It’s time to get back to the starting point of the Christian life—the cross of Christ. Jesus’ work on your behalf must be the central motivation for your life and faith—the main thing.

“Never move on,” says C.J. Mahaney, who shows you how to center every day around the cross of Calvary and how to escape the pitfalls of legalism, condemnation, and feelings-driven faith.

Tap into the gospel’s power and see how a cross centered focus can transform your life today!

MEN

The Men will be studying Vince Miller's "7 Challenges Men Encounter."

7 challenges men face

Daily it's getting more challenging to be a man. Our present culture is redefining manhood and confusing men in their pursuit of Biblical manhood. But how will you respond? What will you say and do when the world demands a response? Discover how to respond by rejecting passivity, accepting responsibility, leading courageously, loving unconditionally, living with integrity, serving humbly, and investing eternally. Let others see masculinity and manhood through the lens of Christ in your life with these seven characteristics and become a better man, husband, father, and leader.
