COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Fellowship Family,

I am eager to communicate to you that the Elders have met and agreed to begin reopening the church on Sunday, May 24th. Our main concern was of course for the safety of our church body. We also realize that our church family may have differing views on when is the right time to gather together again.  Some may be eager and others may find themselves reluctant.  I am asking that we each operate in patience and grace towards one another.

Beginning on Sunday May 24th, we will be having a 10am service only.  At present we will not be offering any Bible Fellowship Classes or Wednesday Night Bible Studies.   We also will not be providing a nursery during this initial reopening phase.

For precaution we are encouraging people who are able and willing to wear face masks.  We will also forgo handshakes and hugs temporarily.  Every other row of chairs has been removed to help us with social distancing. We also ask that children remain with their parents and not gather together on the playground equipment.

Again, let us be reminded that this is an opportunity for us to love our church well.  These precautions may be over the top to one individual while to another not nearly enough.  For those who are more comfortable remaining at home right now, we will continue to live stream our service at 10am.

I am so thankful for each of you.  Let me leave you with this encouraging scripture from 2 Cor 4:17: For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

Love in Christ,
